Brodbay is committed to selling safe, compliant pet products. This page explains our approach to product safety.

1. Our commitment

We work to ensure our products meet applicable UK safety standards and regulations for the categories we sell, including pet accessories and electronic devices.

2. Using our products safely

• Leashes: inspect regularly for wear and replace if damaged; always supervise pets during use.
• Ultrasonic training devices: intended for use as described in the product listing and any included instructions; not a substitute for professional training advice for behavioural issues; keep away from young children.
• Vacuum cleaners: use only as intended for pet hair/dander cleanup; follow any included manual for charging and maintenance.
• Poop bags: keep away from young children due to suffocation risk; dispose of responsibly.

3. Electrical and battery safety

Rechargeable items should be charged using the supplied cable, not left charging unattended for extended periods, and kept away from water and extreme heat.

4. Reporting a safety concern

If you believe a product you've purchased from us is unsafe or defective, stop using it immediately and contact us at brodbayltd@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if possible. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

5. Recalls

In the unlikely event of a product recall, we will contact affected customers directly using the details provided at checkout and post an update here.

6. Regulatory contact

UK consumers can also report unsafe products to their local Trading Standards office or via the Office for Product Safety and Standards.
